Mr. Li Wei was born in Bazhou, Hebei Province in 1982, the same year as me. We were close classmates in childhood and shared a passion for football. Inspired by him, I also grew fond of calligraphy writing. We remain best friends to this day, and he has become a shareholder of my company.
 
Mr. Li Wei’s profound love for life is fully reflected in his calligraphy practice. Aside from teaching calligraphy to students during daily work, he devotes long hours every day to consistent writing practice for self-improvement. Below are his professional titles, credentials and honors:

He studied under two renowned Chinese calligraphers and educators, Mr. Tian Yingzhang and Mr. Tian Xuesong. Influenced by his father from early childhood, he developed a love for calligraphy and has been deeply immersed in traditional Chinese culture, regarding calligraphy as an indispensable part of his spiritual life. For a decade, he has dedicated himself to rigorous study and research of calligraphic theories.
 

He has claimed the first prize five times in the National Ouyang Xun Regular Script Copying Competition hosted by Tian Xuesong Calligraphy & Painting Academy.

 

He was awarded the First Prize for Outstanding Instructors in the 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th and 29th National Primary & Secondary School Calligraphy Competitions.

 

He also received the First Prize for Excellent Tutors in the 8th, 9th and 10th Ode to Hope National Youth Calligraphy & Painting Art Exhibition.

 

His calligraphic works have been collected by the 2nd National Youth Games Organizing Committee and the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation in Beijing. His regular script work Riverside Daffodils was selected for the Chinese Traditional Culture Exhibition held in Brussels, the capital of Belgium.
 
In recent years, he has followed Mr. Tian Xuesong to promote popular calligraphy education. His calligraphic skills and teaching methodologies fully inherit the authentic teachings of masters Tian Yingzhang and Tian Xuesong. Numerous students under his tutelage have won Special, First, Second and Third Prizes in authoritative national competitions, including Beijing’s Lanting Cup, the Ministry of Education white-list events Salute to Heros and Ode to Hope, as well as the National Primary and Secondary School Calligraphy & Painting Contest.
